Blake Middle holds Towel Drive

A sixth grade class from The Blake Middle School (Nick Rathmann’s class) visited Bridging, an agency that serves people moving out of homelessness into housing. Last fall the class went on a tour at Bridging and noted the clients needed towels for their new homes.  The students were so inspired that they went back and decided to host a towel drive.  Students collected 170 towels and returned to Bridging and worked sorting household items and to deliver the collectd towels.

We hope to have inspired them to hold a Kitchen Utensils drive next.  Bring on the can openers!
