A native Brooklyn and Deputy Executive Director of External Affairs for City Year New York, Diahann has helped City Year expand throughout all five burrows of New York City.

A friend of the Shinnyo-en Foundation for many years, Kent Koth is the Director of Seattle University’s Center for Service and Community Engagement. Kent also has been active in the planning of the Shinnyo-en Foundaiton Summer retreat for several years.

Longtime resident, organizer and Mayor Terry Nagel has worked hard to turn Burlingame into the wonderful city it has become.  In June of 2007, Burlingame kicked off its Centennial Celebration, and with Mayor Nagel's continuing leadership, the city promises to have an even brighter future.
