- Celebrating 10 Years of Giving, Growing
and Transforming: The
Foundation will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary beginning
in January 2005 and will be hosting a year-long series of celebratory
events and activities. Please stay tuned for specific events and
join us in celebrating our tenth year!
- Seventh Annual Retreat Accepting Applications: Youth
service practitioners and educators are invited to apply for our
annual Exploring Spiritual, Cultural and Religious Roots of Service
retreat. Applications are due by May 15, 2005. Please join us
for an exciting and powerful transformative experience at the
Marconi Conference Center.

- 13 New Grants Announced in November: On November
18, 2004, our Board of Directors approved 13 new grants designed
to support programs nurturing youth and the adults who work with

- Presenting Our Paradigm of Service Last October,
at the National Character Education Partnership Conference in
Houston, Texas, the Foundation shared its paradigm of service
in the context of leadership development and developing a caring

- Our New Look We have a whole new look! Thanks
to the team at Bemporad Baranowski Marketing Group, we have a
new visual identity inspired by our original lotus flower logo.
Our updated color palette of brown and pink symbolizes the fact
that beauty can grow anywhere - all it needs is a chance to take
root!
